MUAROJAMBI - Welly Afriandi (25) Warga RT 08, Desa Kemunduran, Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, Kabupaten Muarojambi, korban tenggelam di sungai Kumpeh Sabtu (26/09/20) lalu, akhirnya Senin pagi (28/09/20) berhasil ditemukan oleh tim Basarnas yang dibantu oleh masyarakat setempat. Namun sayangnya saat ditemukan korban sudah dalam keadaan meninggal dunia.
Kapolres Muarojambi, AKBP Adiyanto melalui bagian Humas AKP Amradi mengatakan, kronologis awal tenggelamnya korban menurut saksi terjadi pada sabtu, 26 september 2020 sekitar pukul 00.00 wib, korban Welly terlihat sedang berperahu kearah ilir Sungai Kumpeh, lalu sekira pukul 01.00 wib, salah seorang saksi yang merupakan keluarga korban mencari korban karena belum pulang dan pada saat itulah di temukan perahu yang digunakan korban sudah terendam air namun korban tidak ada.
Kemudian warga langsung melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepihak Polsek Kumpeh Ulu, dan Kapolsek langsung memerintahkan Unit Reskrim, Unit Intelkam dan BKTM untuk cek Informasi tersebut.
“Untuk melaksanakan olah Pengumpulan bahan keterangan terkait informasi tersebut dan melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak desa dan kecamatan agar segera berkoordinasi dengan BPBD Kab Muarojambi untuk dilakukan pencarian korban didalam Sungai,” ujarnya.
Akhirnya setelah dilakulan pencarian hampir tiga hari, tim Basarnas yang dibantu oleh anggota TNI, Polri bersama Kades dan Masyarakat kurang lebih sejumlah 50 orang dengan menggunakan 1 perahu karet basarnas dan 5 motor ketek milik masyarkat. Berhasil menemukan korban. “Tetapi sayangnya korban sudah meninggal dunia," pungkas AKP Amradi.
