MUARABULIAN - Bantuan Pemerintah untuk Masyarakat (BPM) Program Kota Tanpa Kumuh (Kotaku) dilaunching di Kabupaten Batanghari. Dalam launching dilakukan peletakan cor pertama pembuatan rabat beton di Kelurahan Muarabulian, Kabupaten Batanghari pada Rabu (23/9/2020).
Bupati Batanghari, Ir. Syahirsah Sy yang diwakili oleh Kadis Perkim Batanghari, Very Ardiansyah,S.STP,MM dalam pidatonya menyampaikan,program Kotaku Kementerian PUPR Tahun 2020 Kabupaten Batanghari telah menerima program Kotaku di Kelurahan Muarabulian. Dan besaran bantuan kegiatan infrastruktur berbasis masyarakat yang kita lokuskan di RT 03, RT 06 dan RT 31 dengan penerima manfaat sebanyak 604 jiwa, dengan dana 1 milyar, untuk memperbaiki akses jalan lingkungan.
Untuk itu kepada Kementerian PUPR melalui Kepala Balai Prasarana Pemukiman Wilayah Jambi ibu Ir. Azna Legawati, MM. “Kami mengharapkan program Kotaku ini dapat terus dialokasikan untuk Kabupaten Batanghari untuk memperbaiki akses masyarakat terhadap infrastruktur pemukiman sesuai dengan 7 + 1 Indikator Kumuh, penguatan kapasitas pemerintah daerah untuk mengembangkan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder) dan memperbaiki tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengembangan penghidupan berkelanjutan,” kata Very membacakan teks pidato Bupati Batanghari.
Kepala Balai Prasarana Pemukiman Wilayah Jambi, Ir. Azna Legawati, MM mengatakan, bahwa Program Kotaku adalah satu dari sejumlah upaya strategis Direktorat Jenderal Cipta Karya Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat untuk mempercepat penanganan permukiman kumuh di Indonesia.
“Program Kotaku akan menangani kumuh dengan membangun platform kolaborasi melalui peningkatan peran pemerintah daerah dan partisipasi masyarakat membangun sistem terpadu. Sehingga pemerintah daerah memimpin dan berkolaborasi dalam perencanaan serta implementasi dengan mengedepankan kepentingan masyarakat,” katanya.
Program Kotaku, katanya, akan dijalankan dengan tepat mutu, tepat waktu, dan tepat sasaran sehingga hasilnya bisa dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat.
“Dengan menitikberatkan kepada infrastruktur permukiman dan meningkatkan permukiman kumuh sesuai dengan indikator yang ada. Sehingga berkontribusi langsung terhadap luas permukiman kumuh di wilayah yang terpilih. Selain itu, Program Kotaku juga bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat miskin,” ungkapnya.
