JAMBI - Guna mempercepat penanganan penyakit yang diakibatkan virus corona atau Covid-19, Gubernur Jambi Dr.Drs.H.Fachrori Umar,M.Hum meresmikan Laboratorium Biologi Molekuler dan Gedung Unit Transfusi Darah Rumah Sakit (UTDRS) di RSUD Raden Mattaher, Selasa (22/9/2020). Dengan diresmikannya laboratorium tersebut, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi resmi memiliki Laboratorium PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) untuk uji Swab Covid-19. Langkah ini merupakan upaya Gubernur Jambi dan jajaran serta pihak terkait, mendorong percepatan penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi.
Tampak mendampingi Gubernur, Plt.Kepala Dinkes Provinsi Jambi Refrizal, Direktur Utama RSUD Raden Mattaher dr.Ferry Kusnadi, SpOG. Tampak hadir pula Danrem 042/GAPU, Brigjen TNI M.Zulkifli.
Gubernur berharap, adanya Laboratorium Biologi Molekuler ini, bisa mempercepat tracing (penelusuran) penyebaran Covid-19, meningkatkan kinerja, dan dengan cepat mendiagnosa penyakit, khususnya Covid-19.
Gubernur menjelaskan, upaya secara medis harus dimaksimalkan, dengan peralatan dan sebagainya. Tak hanya itu, Gubernur pun berharap agar masyarakat tetap punya kesadaran untuk mematuhi protokol Kesehatan Covid-19.
“Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Plt.Kadis Kesehatan dan Direktur Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Raden Mattaher yang telah menyiapkan gedung dan laboratorium biologi molekuler coronavirus dan juga gedung unit Transfusi Darah. Keberadaan gedung ini mempermudah masyarakat untuk mendapat darah tepat waktu dan memudahkan penanganan kasus Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi,” kata gubernur.
Gubernur mengungkapkan, akhir bulan Juli lalu terjadi lonjakan kasus Covid-19 dan per tanggal 20 September 2020 terdapat 386 jumlah kasus di Provinsi Jambi, serta menerangkan beberapa upaya dalam percepatan penanganan wabah Covid-19 antara lain disediakannya Bapelkes sebagai rumah isolasi mandiri dan penambahan ruang isolasi Rumah Sakit Raden Mattaher Jambi, sebagai salah satu rumah sakit rujukan pasien Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi.
Gubernur mengharapkan peresmian laboratorium Biologi Molekuler ini dapat meningkatkan kapasitas pemeriksaan sampel uji swab per hari dan memperpendek antrian pemeriksaan sampel sehingga dapat mempermudah kerja tim gugus tugas dan gerak cepat dalam penelusuran kontak untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19.
“Tidak saja laboratorium biomolekuler saja yang diresmikan hari ini tetapi juga Gedung Unit Transfusi Darah RS Raden Mattaher Jambi. Iini merupakan bentuk komitmen untuk mewujudkan pelayanan transfusi darah yang aman, tepat waktu, sesuai dengan standar. Keberadaan UTDRS ini diharapkan pula dapat memenuhi ketersediaan darah dan memudahkan pasien untuk mendapat darah, khususnya pada keadaan darurat,” tutur gubernur.
Gubernur berpesan kepada seluruh jajaran Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Raden Mattaher Jambi termasuk pemeriksaan laboratorium yang akan semakin banyak, agar tetap bekerja ikhlas dan maksimal, memberikan pelayanan prima yang dimulai dari kemampuan, sikap, penampilan, perhatian, tindakan dan tanggung jawab.
Direktur Utama RSUD Raden Mattaher dr.Ferry Kusnadi, SpOG menyampaikan, peresmian Gedung Unit Transfusi Darah Rumah Sakit dan Laboratorium Molekuler dapat meningkatkan semangat dan kinerja seluruh jajaran RSUD Raden Mattaher.
“Dengan adanya laboratorium Biologi Molekuler ini, Rumah sakit Raden Mattaher sudah dapat melakukan PCR, tes cepat molekuler untuk penanganan diagnose Covid-19. Dan dengan adanya gedung unit transfusi darah yang sesuai dengan standar tipe B, maka kita dapat mengambil komponen darah tertentu, dan uji saring. RSUD juga memiliki satu buah unit mobil dengan alat transfusi darah lengkap,” ujar Ferry.
