MERANGIN - Kabupaten Merangin kembali meraih Penghargaan predikat Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP), dari Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK).
Penghargaan atas keberhasilan lima kali berturut-turut dalam penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah (LKPD) mulai 2015 hingga tahun 2019 tersebut, diterima Plt Bupati Merangin H Mashuri, Senin (2/11).
Sertifikat dan Plakat WTP itu diterima H Mashuri dari Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia melalui Kepala Kantor Pelayanan Perbendaharaan Negara (KPPN) Bangko, Ny FirzaYulianti di Ruang rapat kerja bupati  Merangin.
H Mashuri merasa bersyukur atas diraihnya penghargaan itu dan berharap hal ini bisa menjadi motivasi peningkatan kinerja. Piagam penghargaan tersebut, merupakan oleh-oleh yang luar biasa dari Kementerian Keuangan.
‘’Biasanya kepala daerah diundang untuk menerima penghargaan ini Pusat, sekarang justru diantar ke Merangin mengingat kondisi pandemi Covid-19. Terimakasih kepada Kepala KPPN Bangko yang telah mengantar penghargaan ini,’’ ujar H Mashuri.
Dikatakan Plt bupati, Pemkab di tahun anggaran 2020 mendapatkan tekanan yang cukup berat, karena dalam masa pandemi Covid-19, dimana APBD tertekan. Tetapi berkat kerja sama semua pihak, pembangunan terus berjalan sebagai mana mestinya. 
Kepada Tim Pengelola Keuangan Pemkab Merangin, Plt bupati minta agar tidak merasa puas dengan raihan WTP tersebut, tetapi justru menjadi pemicu dalam pengelolaan keuangan daerah yang lebih baik lagi
Pada kesempatan itu H Mashuri menyerahkan Piagan Penghargaan kepada KPPN Bangko, atas kinerja dan koordinasi yang baik dalam suksesnya penyaluran dana desa di Kabupaten Merangin.
Sementara itu Kepala KPPN Bangko Ny FirzaYulianti, mengucapkan selamat kepada Pemkab Merangin dibawah komando Bupati H Al Haris dan Wabup H Mashuri atas diraihnya WTP tersebut.
 ‘’Ini adalah sebuah prestasi yang sangat membanggakan sekali bagi daerah. Semoga Pemkab Merangin kedepannya kembali mendapatkan WTP lagi dan lagi,’’ ujar Ny FirzaYulianti.
