Penangkapan tersangka AW (39 ) warga Jalan Letnan Sadaini Rt. 09/03 Keurahan Pematang Kandis Bangko disampaikan Kapolres Merangin AKBP Irwan Andy Purnamawan, S.I.K. melalui Paur Humas Iptu Edih, Rabu (4/11/2020).

”Tersangka AW (39) diamankan Team Satres Narkoba sekira Pukul 10.45 WIB, di Kebun Karet Desa Tambang Baru, Kecamatan Tabir Lintas Kabupaten Merangin,” ungkap Iptu Edih.

Adapun krologis penangkapan, pada hari Jumat (30/10/2020) sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB anggota opsnal Sat Resnarkoba Polres Merangin mendapat Informasi pelaku sering membeli Narkotika jenis Shabu ke Desa Rantau Limau Manis

Pada hari Sabtu (31/10/2020) sekira jam 10.30 WIB saat team sedang melaksanakan patroli kearah Kecamatan Tabir, tidak lama kemudian melintas pelaku AW (39) di Jalan Lintas Sumatera dalam kecepatan tinggi.

Selanjutan petugas timbul kecurigaan dan langsung dilakukan pengejaran terhadap pelaku. Merasa dibuntuti kemudian pelaku berusaha melarikan diri dengan mengarahkan sepeda motornya ke arah perkebunan karet. Berkat kesigapan team, pelaku akhirnya berhasil diamankan.

Setelah dilakukan penggeledahan didalam Dompet Pelaku ditemukan barang bukti 1 (satu) Paket narkotika jenis Shabu yang diakui adalah miliknya yang di dapatkan dari RK di Desa Buluran Panjang. Kemudian team melakukan pengembangan namun keberadaan RK sudah tidak ada di tempat lagi.

Barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan yaitu 1 (satu) plastik bening kecil yang berisikan narkotika Shabu dengan Bruto 1,75 gram, 1 (satu) buah dompet warna hitam merk COSSET, 1 (satu) unit Sepeda motor Yamaha Mio warna merah beserta kunci kontaknya, dan 1 (satu) buah HP merk Samsung warna putih beserta Sim Card.

“Tersangka selanjutnya di bawa Ke Polres Merangin untuk dilakukan proses hukum lebih lanjut dan dijerat Pasal 114 ayat (1), Pasal 112 ayat (1) Undang- Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 Tshun 2009 Tentang Narkotika,“ tandasnya.
