DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari masa keanggotaan 2019-2024 saat ini diisi banyak wajah-wajah baru. Mereka adalah anggota DPRD yang baru terpilih menjadi anggota DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari, sementara wajah lama nya merupakan incumbent pada masa keanggotaan 2014-2019 Disamping itu, DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari masa keanggotaan 2019-2024 memiliki tingkat pendidikan yang beragam dengan latar belakang kehidupan dan profesi yang berbeda pula. Kondisi ini menyebabkan beragamnya tingkat pemahaman terhadap kedudukan, fungsi, tugas, wewenang, hak dan kewajiban sebagai anggota Dewan.
Oleh karena itu, Pimpinan dan anggota DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari melaksanakan Bimbingan Teknis/Workshop dalam rangka menyamakan pemahaman dan meningkatkan wawasan terhadap kedudukan, fungsi, tugas, wewenang, hak dan kewajiban DPRD, yang dilaksanakan selama 4 hari, mulai tanggal 5 sampai dengan 8 November 2020, yang dibagi ke dalam 3 sesi pada setiap harinya dengan materi yang berbeda.
Bimbingan Teknis ini diselenggarakan Dewan Pengurus Nasional Asosiasi Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kabupaten Seluruh Indonesia (ADKASI) d engan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan, pengalaman, dan sumber daya, serta mengembangkan dan memperkuat hubungan kelembagaan antar kedua belah pihak terutama dalam Bidang Bimbingan Teknis bagi Pimpinan dan Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari.
Acara ini diikuti oleh Pimpinan dan Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari Masa Keanggotaan 2019-2024. Bimbingan teknis kali ini mengangkat tema "Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah dan Kebijakan New Normal Penyelenggaraan Pemerintah Daerah".
Untuk diketahui bimbingan teknis bagi pimpinan dan anggota DPRD Batanghari ini dipusatkan di Hotel BW Luxury Kota Jambi Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Pasir Putih Kota Jambi.
