JAMBI – Untuk mendiskusikan berbagai permasalahan di provinsi Jambi, Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Komisi IV DPR RI, siang tadi, Senin (9/11/2020).
Edi disambut langsung oleh Ketua Komisi IV DPR RI, Sudin, Wakil Ketua Budisatrio Djiwandono, dan 3 orang anggota komisi, Ono Surono, Riezki Aprilia dan Yohanis Fransiskus Lema.
Dalam pertemuan yang bernuansa akrab namun serius tersebut, Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi ini mendiskusikan berbagai permasalahan serius di provinsi Jambi, diantaranya seputar persoalan konflik lahan dan PETI (Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin) yang masih marak dan kerap terjadi di provinsi Jambi.
“PETI (Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin) kan termasuk permasalahan lingkungan yang tidak kunjung selesai di Jambi, maka kita butuh pandangan dari pusat, termasuk DPR RI, apa saran mereka,” jelas Edi.
Selain PETI, Edi juga berdiskusi permasalahan pertanian dan kehutanan yang ada di provinsi Jambi sesuai dengan ruang lingkup tugas Komisi IV.
“Alhamdulillah, Komisi IV sangat welcome, ini baru diskusi awal, mereka komit untuk membantu Jambi mencarikan solusi berbagai permasalahan lingkungan hidup, termasuk pertanian, dan kehutanan juga,” pungkasnya. (*)
