MERANGIN - Dramatis dan luar biasa tampilan Sanggar Seni Budaya Bathin Penghulu, Kabupaten Merangin saat mewakili Provinsi Jambi dalam Temu Teater se-Sumatera. 

Temu Teater se-Sumatera tahun ini  digelar di Taman Budaya Jambi, setelah sebelumnya perdana digelar di Sumatera Selatan 2019 lalu yang diikuti 11 Provinsi. Dengan tetap mengacu dan mengikuti aturan protokol kesehatan, event ini sepakat tetap dilaksanakan tahun ini dengan jumlah peserta luar Provinsi yang dibatasi.

Karya Lubang Jarum ini menyajikan cerita tentang tragedi lubang jarum di daerah Renah Pembarap. Penambangan emas liar yang memakan banyak korban dan tidak ditemukan jenazahnya. Keserakahan merenggut kebahagiaan dan bnyak nyawa.

Lakon ini disajikan dalam bentuk eksplor tubuh, yang diperankan oleh M.Hidayat, Windi, Azhari, Ali Amin, Anisa, Idham Khalid, Avizka Hadid. Dibantu dengan penata artistik Bayu Kumara, Deno Charles, Baroq, Edli, dan Julian.

Para pemain berani bermain lumpur ketika memainkan lakon lubang jarum ini. Mereka menyiramkan air lumpur yang telah disiapkan sebagai properti penunjang cerita.

Bahkan bentuk sajian etetisnya teater Sanggar Seni Batin penghulu menyajikan Suku Anak Dalam (SAD), mulai dari monolog menggunakan bahasa SAD sampai dengan pakayan membuat mereka terkesima dwngan sajian bentuk dari suku tertinggal yang berada di Provinsi Jambi.

Ade Qomo ikut berperan penting dalam menambah suasana dari tampilan karya yang disutradarai Febra Muyu S.Sn ini. Musik iringan garapan Adeqomo menjadikan cerita ini seakan hidup dan membuat penonton terdiam.

Ketua Dewan Kesenian Merangin ( DKM ) Asro al Murthawy  mengapresiasi dan mendukung kegiatan positif ini. "Kita dukung acara ini, karena ini ajang untuk apresiasi, dan berharap adik2 dari sanggar Batin Penghulu dapat membawa nama harum Kesenian Merangin hingga tingkat nasional," sebut Asro.

Sementara itu, Febra Muyu sutradara sekaligus pemain dalam lakon ini tak dapat meluapkan rasa senangnya. Meski dengan persiapan yang serba mepet, namun mereka bisa bermain apik.

"Terimakasih untuk kawan-kawan pemain, meskipun latihan mepet namun semua bisa bekerja sama dan menampilkan karya ini dengan baik" jelasnya.

Semoga dengan adanya even-even seperti ini dapat terus mencetak seniman-seniman berbakat yang bisa membawa nama baik Jambi hingga level nasional.
