Kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh Asisten I Setda Metangin H.  Abdul Gani, Kajari Merangin, Marta Parulina Berliana,  Kapolres Merangin diwakili, Dandim 0420 Sarko diwakili, Dewan Pendidikan Merangin Syafrudin Hadi, Kemenag Merangin Marwan Hasan, Anggota DPRD Merangin Muhammad Yani, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kebudayaan Merangin H.M.Zubir, beserta jajaran, dan seluruh pengurus PGRI Merangin beserta tamu undangan. 
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kebudayaan Merangin sekaligus Ketua PGRI Merangin H.M.Zubir saat diwawancara awak media mengatakan, melalui  peringatan HUT PGRI Ke-75 dan HGN tahun 2020 semoga organisasi PGRI Merangin semakin solid dan intens yang merupakan rumahnya bagi para guru di Merangin.
"Mari kita dukung semua program pendidikan terutama bagi guru guru kita baik yang berada dikota maupun didaerah terpencil dengan semangat, karena dengan semangat itu mereka bergairah untuk mendidik anak bangsa. Apalagi didaerah terpencil mereka harus menempuh jalan yang cukup panjang, sehingga harus kita motivasi dengan baik,"jelasnya.
Zubir  juga mengatakan, dengan memberi semangat kepada para guru di Merangin pastinya akan membangkitkan semangat mereka dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai guru dalam melayani masyarakat. 
"Guru mendidik, membina, melatih anak anak kita disekolah, jadi harus diberi perhatian dan semangat yang tinggi,"ujarnya. 
Sementara itu lanjut H.Zubir rangkaian kegiatan dalam HUT PGRI Ke-75 ini dimana pihaknya mengadakan web seminar (Webinar)secara online, tentang kompetensi guru yang diikuti lebih dari 300 orang guru.
"Kado terbesar kita tahun ini sangat istimewa, dimana kita mengusulkan lebih 2000 orang lebih guru jenjang TK,SD,SMP negeri dan swasta untuk diangkat menjadi guru PPPK khusus di Merangin. Mari kita doakan bersama, guru yang diusulkan masuk tahun ini sekolah sekolah teratasi dari kekurangan guru,"terangnya. 
Disamping itu untuk proses belajar mengajar dia mengungkapkan, sesuai dengan informasi dari Kementerian Pendidikan bahwa aktifitas belajar mengajar sudah bisa dilaksanakan dibulan Juli 2020 secara bertahap tetapi harus mematuhi protokol Kesehatan covid-19.  "Sedanglan sistim pembagiannya secara bergantian, dan jumlah siswannya pu  satu lokal 18 orang. Selama proses belajar mengajar, harus menn
gunakan  masker. Sebelum belajar suhunya diukur dan cuci tangan,"sebutnya. 
"Sementara orang tua tidak diperkenankan masuk kedalam lingkungan sekolah,cukup antar anak didepan sekolah saja," tambahnya. 
Ia juga menyampaikan bahwa januari nanti semua jenjang sekolah akan melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. 
"Tetap menggunakan surat izin orang tua untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar tinggal memperbaharui karena sebagian besar sudah ada,"paparnya. 
Selain itu, ditanya sejauh mana perkembangan dan kemajuan PGRI Merangin ia mengakui sampai saat ini PGRI Merangin sudah mulai aktif dalam kepengurusannya, termasuk juga pendataan para pengurus mulai dari semua jenjang pendidikan. Karena PGRI ini tidak milik Guru yang ada dilingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Kebudayaan tetapi semua guru yang mengajar baik dijenjang RA, MTS, MAN, dan lain sebagainya. 
"Semua guru yang tergabung dalam PGRI kita berikan kartu tanda anggota karena kartu anggota  tersebut nanti berguna bagi mereka dalam mengurus segala sesuatu hal,"tandasnya.
