Tingginya warga yang terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 ini, langsung disikapi Bupati Merangin H Al Haris. Usai Shalat Jumat di Masjid Pancasila, H. Al Haris menghimbau kepada Jemaah untuk kembali mematuhi protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19.
Masyarakat harus lebih mendisiplinkan lagi dalam menggunakan masker. ‘’Di masjid-masjid kita kembali berlakukan jaga jarak dan para jemaah harus membawa sajadah masing-masing,’’ujar Bupati.
Para pengurus masjid-masjid di Kabupaten Merangin, dihimbau bupati untuk kembali menggulung karpet (sajadah panjang) masjid dan membiarkan lantai masjid tanpa alas, karena para jemaah diminta membawa sajadah sendiri.

‘’Kita terus berusaha agar pasien Covid-19 tidak lagi meningkat. Untuk itu berbagai pencegahan dilakukan, termasuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan dengan sering mencuci tangan dengan sabun, jaga jarak dan menggunakan masker,’’tegas Bupati.
Satgas penanggulangan dan pencegahan Covid-19 Kabupaten Merangin diminta bupati, untuk kembali bekerja melakukan aktivitasnya. Posko-posko Covid-19 juga harus kembali aktif.
‘’Intinya masyarakat wajib menggunakan masker, karena virus Corona ini sangat cepat sekali menyebar, untuk itu harus dicegah dengan menggunakan masker, jaga jarak dan selalu cuci tangan dengan sabun di air yang mengalir,’’tandas Bupati.
