Ketujuh kecamatan itu, Kecamatan Jangkat, Kecamatan Lembah Masurai, Kecamatan Muara Siau, Kecamatan Sunai Manau, Kecamatan Tabir Ulu, Kecamatan Tabir Barat dan Kecamatan Nalotantan.

Hal tersebut ditegaskan Wabup Merangin H Mashuri saat memimpin jalannya Apel kesiapan dalam rangka pencegahan Karhutla di halaman depan Mapolres Merangin, Senin (08/3).

‘’Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan kecamatan lainnya, juga bisa terjadi Karhutla. Untuk itu masyarakat harus mewaspadainya. Saya ingatkan jangan ada warga yang membuka lahan dengan cara membakar,’’ ujar Wabup.

Bila ada warga yang diketahui dengan sengaja membuka lahan dengan sistem membakar lanjut wabup, akan dikenakan sanksi hukum sesuai dengan peraturan dan Perundang-Undangan yang berlaku.

Dikatakan wabup, Apel kesiapsiagaan dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kesiapsiagaan personil maupun sarana pendukung lainnya, sehingga pada saat terjadi kebakaran hutan dan lahan kegiatan penanganan dapat berjalan dengan optimal.

‘’Melalui kesiapan yang dimiliki, apabila terjadi Karhutla dengan cepat dan sigap para petugas dan peralatan kendaraan dinas yang sudah disiapkan dapat bergerak dengan cepat menuju lokasi kebakaran untuk melakukan pemadaman,’’ jelas Wabup.

Pada kesempatan itu, Wabup minta anggota Tim Karhutla Merangin untuk selalu bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, Menjaga keselamatan dalam melaksanakan tugas dengan tetap mengikuti protokol kesehatan.

Tetap melakukan himbauan dan penyuhan hukum kepada masyarakat terkait bahaya Karhutla secara intens.  Lakukan koordinasi dengan dinas/instansi terkait, baik dalam hal kelengkapan peralatan, maupun untuk meningkatkan kemampuan diri.

‘’Gelar terus latihan bersama, guna menghadapi bencana yang mungkin terjadi, Lakukan pengecekan secara berkala terhadap peralatan pemadam kebakaran agar dapat digunakan apabila sewaktu-waktu dibutuhkan,’’ tandas Wabup.
