JAMBI – Pejabat (Pj) Gubernur Jambi Dr. Hari Nur Cahya Murni. M.Si berharap melalui ajang kompetisi, selain menjadi media dalam menumbuh kembangkan inovasi di Provinsi Jambi, dapat melahirkan inovator-inovator yang dapat menciptakan inovasi yang menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan perekonomian lokal, harapan demikian disampaikannya saat, penutupan Apresiasi dan Penganugrahan pemenang Inovasi Produk Daerah Provinsi Jambi Tahun 2021, Bertempat di Aula Balitbangda Provinsi Jambi, Rabu (02/06/2021)
Lomba Inovasi Produk Daerah Tahun ini mengusung tema “Meningkatkan Daya Saing Komoditi Nanas dan Pinang melalui Pendekatan Kreativitas, Inovasi dan Teknologi di Provinsi Jambi.”
Dalam sambutannya Pj. Gubernur mengemukakan, Rendahnya nilai tambah komoditi unggulan daerah masih menjadi salah satu kendala dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Untuk itu, perlu pendekatan kreativitas dan inovasi yang membudaya di tengah masyarakat, sebagai faktor pengungkit (leverage) di tengah pergeseran ekonomi yang berbasis indusri menuju ekonomi berbasis pengetahuan.” Inovasi dapat diperoleh melalui discovery (penemuan), invensi (penciptaan, perancangan) maupun pembaharuan suatu produk dengan metode atau cara yang baru. Pada konteksnya, inovasi dapat diartikan sebagai kegiatan penelitian, pengembangan, atau perekayasaan yang bertujuan mengembangkan penerapan praktis nilai dan konteks ilmu pengetahuan yang baru, atau cara baru untuk menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang telah ada dalam produk atau proses produksi," ungkap Pj. Gubernur.

Gubernur Menjelaskan, pengaplikasian inovasi dapat dibedakan dalam tiga bentuk.” Dalam pengaplikasian Inovasi dapat dibedakan dalam tiga bentuk pertama inovasi produk (product innovation), kedua inovasi dalam pelayanan (service innovation) dan ketiga inovasi proses (process innovation). Inovasi produk merupakan pemunculan produk baru. Inovasi pelayanan seperti ini adalah cara baru dalam bentuk pelayanan yang diberikan kepada para pelanggan. Sedangkan inovasi proses sebuah cara baru untuk membuat proses dalam menghasilkan produk atau jasa menjadi lebih ekonomis," jelas Pj. Gubernur
Dikatakan juga oleh Pj. Gubernur, Kehadiran inovasi di Provinsi Jambi telah dinaungi oleh payung hukum, dengan hadirnya Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Jambi Nomor 2 Tahun 2020 tentang Penyelenggaraan Inovasi di Daerah. Peraturan Daerah ini mengamanahkan agar inovasi di Provinsi Jambi dapat ditumbuhkembangkan secara masif.

Gubernur menyampaikan selamat kepada para pemenang Lomba Inovasi Produk Daerah, dengan harapan semoga kegiatan ini dapat menjadi stimulus dalam berkreasi dan berinovasi di kalangan pelajar, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat di Provinsi Jambi.” Saya ucapkan selamat kepada para pemenag lomba Inovasi Produk Daerah, kita mengharapkan kegiatan ini dapat menjadi stimulus dalam berkreasi dan berinovasi di kalangan pelajar dan masyarakat di Provinsi Jambi," pungkas Pj.
