MUARABULIAN - Bupati Batanghari yang diwakili oleh Sekretaris Daerah Batanghari, Muhammad Azan, SH mengahadiri Rapat Koordinasi dan Monitoring bersama Kepala Satgas wilayah I KPK Bapak Maruli Tua beserta rombongan, Selasa (15/6/2021).
Rakor dan Monitoring ini tentang pemberantasan korupsi di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari.
Turut hadir Inspektur Batanghari, Kepala OPD lingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari, Kepala Cabang Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi dan para undangan lainnya.
Dalam sambutan tertulis Bupati Batanghari yang dibacakan oleh Sekda Batanghari, Muhammad Azan mengatakan, bahwa pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari senantiasa berupaya meningkatkan MCP (monitoring control for prevention).
"Kami berharap melalui rapat evaluasi ini sebagai upaya tindakan perbaikan, terutama beberapa area yang menjadi perhatian yakni optimalisasi pendapatan daerah, manajemen asset, serta pajak daerah," katanya.
“Secara pribadi dan pemerintah daerah kami mengapresiasi KPK yang terlebih dahulu mengedepankan pencegahan dibanding dengan upaya penindakan hal-hal yang berpotensi penyelewengan. Selanjutnya kami membuka pintu seluas-luasnya kepada KPK dalam memberikan masukan maupun evaluasi, agar di dalam kepemimpinan Bupati saat ini tidak ada sandungan kasus yang berkaitan dengan KPK. Kemudian bimbingan, saran dan evalusi dari pihak KPK di era kepemimpinan bupati saat ini tercipta birokrasi yang transparansi dan akuntabiltas dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan," tambahnya menjelaskan.
Selanjutnya pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari akan terus membangun komitmen bersama untuk menerapkan reformasi birokrasi dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang sedang berlangsung saat ini, dengan memposisikan pelayanan public sebagai bagian dari agenda daerah untuk menunjang agenda nasional.
Oleh karena itu Pemkab Batanghari terus berusaha mendorong upaya-upaya pengendalian internal maupun eksternal tentang pengelolaan pemerintahan secara bersih dan transparan. Hakekat pelayanan publik adalah pemberian pelayanan yang prima kepada masyarakat yang merupakan perwujudan kewajiban aparatur pemerintah sebagai abdi masyarakat,” tutupnya.
