MUARABULIAN - Rabu pagi (23/6/2021) Bupati Batanghari yang diwakili oleh Sekretaris Daerah Batanghari, Muhammad Azan, SH mengahadiri sekaligus pimpin giat Apel Gabungan Satgas Klaster Karhutla tahun 2021 di exs arena MTQ Muara Bulian.
Hadir pada acara tersebut wakil ketua DPRD Batang hari, Forkompinda Batanghari, Asisten Administrasi Umum Setda Batanghari, Kepala BMKG Provinsi Jambi, para kepala OPD, Kepala Manggala Agni Batanghari, para camat se kabupaten Batanghari dan undangan lainnya.
Dalam sambutan tertulis Bupati Batanghari yang dibacakan oleh Sekretaris Daerah Batanghari, Muhammad Azan mengatakan, bahwa wilayah provinsi jambi khususnya kabupaten Batanghari memiliki kerawanan terhadap terjadinya bencana, salah satunya terjadi kebakaran hutan dan lahan yang sudah menjadi kalender kamtibmas (keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat) tahunan dan dampaknya dirasakan oleh masyarakat di Kabupaten Batanghari dan sekitarnya.
“Saya tegaskan bahwa perlu adanya langkah-langkah pencegahan secara nyata, dalam bentuk kepastian satgas karhutla guna menyiagakan personil juga sarana dan prasarana yang akan digunakan untuk mengatasi bencana karhutla di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari. Selain kabut asap yang secara langsung dapat mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat, karhutla juga menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi khususnya kepada pemilik lahan maupun perkebunan yang dilanda bencana karhutla apa lagi dimasa pandemi covid-19, untuk itu diharapkan dengan penanggulangan karhutla kita semua jajaran terkait secara bersama-sama dapat menjadi agen promosi kesehatan bagi masyarakat”, tegas Bupati.
Ditambahkannya, bahwa melalui apel kesiapan ini diharapkan adanya kesiapan personel, berikut sarana dan prasana pendukung dalam penanggulangan karhutla sehingga siap untuk diterjunkan ke lapangan ketika musibah itu benar-benar terjadi karena berdasarkan prakiraan cuaca dari Badan Metorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BKMG) bahwa kabupaten Batanghari akan memasuki awal musim kemarau pada bulan juli ini. Namun demikian kita semua wajib memanjatkan doa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa agar musibah karhutla tidak terjadi di wilayah Kabupaten Batanghari.
Acara diakhiri dengan peninjauan sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki oleh BPBD Batanghari yang akan digunakan oleh personel penanggulangan karhutla dan poto bersama.
