Warga yang terpapar Covid-19 melakukan isolasi mandiri yang dipantau bupati itu ada sekitar 75 orang, berada di tiga desa, Sinar Gading, Sungai Sahut dan Desa Rawa Jaya Kecamatan Tabir Selatan.
 ‘’Kita ingin memastikan apakah warga yang melakukan isolasi mandiri ini, diawasi serta betul-betul menerima layanan yang layak dari Puskesmas setempat dan Satgas Covid-19 Desa,’’ujar Bupati.
Ternyata benar, mereka diawasi dengan baik, ada vitamin dan diberi obat-obatan lainnya. Kita berharap kalau mereka OTG (Orang Tanpa Gejala), tetap mereka terinfeksi virus Covid-19.
 Kalau sudah diswab nanti lanjut bupati, ternyata hasilnya dinyatakan negative, mereka baru boleh membaur dengan masyarakat. Tapi bila hasil swab-nya masih positif, mereka belum bisa bebas dan tidak dibolehkan membaur dengan masyarakat.
‘’Kita ingin walaupun warga ini melakukan isolasi mandiri, tetapi pelayanan medis yang mereka terima layaknya dengan mereka yang dirawat di rumah isolasi RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko,’’harap Bupati.
Bagaimana jika mereka berkeinginan minta rawat di rumah isolasi RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko? Bupati menegaskan, sangat menerima sekali. Bupati malah sangat menganjurkan begitu.
‘’Kita berharap mereka mau dibawa ke RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko, karena perawatan dan pengobatannya akan lebih terawasi dengan lebih baik lagi. Kita terus berupaya bagaimana pasien Covid-19 ini cepat sembuh,’’jelas Bupati.
Sebelumnya pada rapat Satgas Covid-19 Merangin di ruang rapat kerja bupati Merangin Selasa (22/6/2021), H Al Haris menegaskan warga yang terpapar Covid-19 akan melakukan isolasi mandiri, diwajibkan membuat pernyataan dibubuhi teken bermaterai.
Tujuannya jika terjadi hal-hal yang tidak dinginkan, warga yang melakukan isolasi mandiri itu, tidak menyalahkan Pemerintah. Sebab Pemerintah telah menyarankan warga untuk diisolasi di rumah isolasi RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko.
