JAMBI – Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto menghadiri Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Daerah (Musrenbang RKPD) Kota Jambi tahun 2023 di Hotel BW Luxury, Thehok, Kota Jambi, Rabu (23/3/2022).
Diantara permasalahan kota Jambi yang diungkapkan Walikota Jambi Syarif Fasha pada pertemuan tersebut adalah pembangunan fly over di kota Jambi untuk mengurai kemacetan.
Menanggapi hal itu, Edi Purwanto menjawab bahwa DPRD provinsi Jambi menampung aspirasi tersebut dan akan mengkaji tingkat kelayakan, kebutuhan dan skala prioritasnya.
“Tapi menurut kami yang lebih penting adalah masalah banjir, pembangunan jambi flood control terhenti, mohon dikaji lagi,” terang Edi.
Edi menambahkan bahwa butuh integrasi penanganan dan pengendalian permasalahan banjir di Kota Jambi yang melibatkan multi stakeholder dan beberapa pemerintah daerah.
Selanjutnya Edi menyampaikan, meskipun angka IPM kota Jambi cukup baik, namun angka kemiskinan dan pengangguran di provinsi Jambi relatif tinggi dibandingkan daerah lain di dalam provinsi Jambi. Maka,di tengah keterbatasan APBD Provinsi Jambi, Edi berharap pemberdayaan dan pengembangan UMKM menjadi salah satu program prioritas.
“Provinsi Jambi baru saja menyetujui 5 multiyears, ada pembangunan jalan di Muaro Jambi, Tanjab Barat dan Sarolangun, ada juga Islamic Center dan stadion bertaraf internasional, dengan anggaran hampir 1,3 Triliun,” ujarnya.
Namun demikian Edi menyampaikan bahwa sebagai Ketua DPRD Provinsi dan anggota DPRD yang berasal dari Dapil Kota Jambi, dirinya akan memperjuangkan hal-hal yang menjadi aspirasi masyarakat kota Jambi.
“Intinya kami menampung dan akan kami kaji kembali,” pungkasnya.(*)
