''Pengamanan penyelenggaraan Pemilu sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) ini dilakukan dengan menjaga dan memelihara ketentraman, ketertiban dan keamanan TPS,''terang Bupati.
Nanti terang bupati, di setiap TPS akan ditempatkan dua orang anggota Sat-Linmas, yang disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi serta kebutuhan di lapanganan.
Selain itu pada apel  itu bupati berpesan, sebagai pelayan masyarakat Sat-Linmas harus menjaga netralitas dalam bertugas.
 Untuk menghindari konflik kepentingan anggota Sat-Linmas harus netral dalam Pilkades Serentak.
''Anggota Sat-Linmas tidak boleh menguntungkan atau merugikan salah satu calon Kades. Berugaslah dengan penuh rasa tanggungjawab dan tetap pengedepankan profesionalitas,''tegas Bupati.
Dipengujung apel, bupati memeriksa barisan kesiapan Sat-Linmas dalam pengamanan Pilkades Serentak di yang akan  berlangsung di sebanyak 176 desa di Kabupaten Merangin.
