kader Demokrat untuk selalu turun ke lapangan dan bantu kesulitan masyarakat. Penegasan ini disampaikan
AHY usai melantik 35 Ketua dan pengurus Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) Partai Demokrat se Jawa Tengah, Senin (3/10) di Magelang, Jawa Tengah.
“Marilah turun terus ke lapangan, jangan pernah kita tinggalkan rakyat. Demokrat ada karena rakyat. Oleh karena itu saya berharap setelah pelantikan ini para Ketua DPC bisa langsung menyusun strategi untuk turun menghadirkan kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif, bertemu, dan membantu masyarakat langsung di lapangan,” kata

AHY sendiri dalam setiap kunjungannya ke daerah, selalu menyempatkan bertemu dan berdialog dengan berbagai kalangan masyarakat.
“Saya kemarin (2/10) melalukan dialog dengan 10 perwakilan anggota masyarakat yang saya catat dikertas kecil ini,” ujar
AHY sambil menunjukkan kertas catatannya. “Saya membiasakan setiap pertemuan dan dialog selalu mencatatnya dan kemudian sama-sama kita renungkan, kita perjuangkan aspirasinya,” lanjutnya.
“Ini contoh saja, kemarin ada Mas Fani (24) seorang guru honorer dari Wonosobo yang mengatakan kecilnya gaji guru honorer. Saat ini nasib mereka terkatung-katung dan mengharapkan seperti zaman Pak SBY dulu yang dalam 10 tahun ada 1,1 juta pegawai atau guru honorer yang diangkat menjadi PNS, yang sudah tidak terjadi lagi sekarang. Ini harapan di mana-mana, bukan di Jawa Tengah saja,”
AHY melanjutkan.
AHY juga menyampaikan keluhan dari perwakilan petani. “Yang kedua ada Pak Rawuh Santoso (52) seorang petani dari Purworejo, mereka mengatakan pupuk itu mahal sulit untuk dicari. Betul ya?” tanya
AHY diamini hadirin yang lain.
“Masalah nasional ini, di mana-mana pupuk mahal, sulit dicari, kalaupun ada cuma 20%-30% untuk mencukupi ladang yang ada, jadi produktivitas tani kita juga tidak bisa menopang kebutuhan kita,” terang

Keluhan dari perwakilan UMKM juga disampaikan
AHY . “Contoh lainnya ada Ibu Andewi Sari (40) seorang pengusaha kecil konveksi di Kabupaten Semarang. Jadi harga jual bajunya turun, karena daya beli masyarakat kita rendah. Ongkos jahitnya segitu-gitu aja tapi akhirnya ngedrop sekali penghasilannya, padahal niatnya agar upah buruh, upah pekerja juga bisa lebih layak, tapi tidak mampu karena memang daya beli masyarakatnya turun,” tambahnya.
“Ini contoh betapa semuanya saling terdampak akibat ekonomi yang tidak tumbuh dengan tinggi, akibat kenaikan harga-harga bahan pokok yang lain. Ini sekali lagi harus menjadi perhatian kita. Masih ada lagi keluhan masyarakat yang lain-lain tetapi mereka semua bisa dikatakan menjadi representasi isu masyarakat dari berbagai daerah dan dari berbagai profesi di Jawa Tengah, untuk terus kita suarakan dan perjuangkan,” tutup
