MUARABULIAN – Pelarian Dua orang pelaku tindak pidana pencurian dengan kekerasan (Curas) yang terjadi di Desa Simpang Terusan, Kecamatan Muarabulian, Kabupaten Batanghari pada Kamis 25 Januari 2024 kemarin, akhirnya terhenti.
Kedua pelaku ditangkap Tim Gabungan Resmob Polda Jambi bersama Reskrim Polres Batanghari di wilayah hukum Polda Sumatera Selatan pada Minggu 04 Februari 2024 sekira pukul 02:30 WIB. Sementara satu orang pelaku lagi berhasil melarikan diri dan saat ini menjadi DPO.
Waka Polres Batanghari, Kompol M. Ridho dalam Press Release di Mapolres Batanghari pada Rabu (7/2/2024) menjelaskan, saat penangkapan, kedua pelaku sempat melakukan perlawanan sehingga Tim Gabungan melakukan tindakan tegas terukur terhadap pelaku yang bernama Denny S (24) tahun, warga Kelurahan Simpang Sungai Duren, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dan Eka Saputra (21) tahun, warga Kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh, Kabupaten Empat Lawang, Provinsi Sumsel.
”Pelaku ada tiga orang, dan yang berhasil diamankan dua orang. Sementara satu pelaku lagi yang bernama Hendra (32) tahun, warga Kelurahan Rawa Sari, Kecamatan Alam Barajo, Kota Jambi saat ini masih dalam Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO),” kata Waka Polres Batanghari, Kompol M. Ridho kepada media.
Lanjut dijelaskan Waka Polres, motif pelaku melakukan pencurian dengan kekerasan, dikarenakan membutuhkan uang.
”Korban bernama Abdurohim (39) tahun, warga Kelurahan Pakuan Baru, Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, Kota Jambi,” katanya.
Para pelaku bermodus merental mobil dari Kota Jambi menuju Kabupaten Empat Lawang, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Tapi Setibanya diperjalanan, tepatnya di TKP Desa Simpang Terusan, salah satu pelaku menodongkan senjata sajam dengan mengancam korban.
”Korban diancam agar menuruti permintaan pelaku, kemudian pelaku mengikat korban dengan menggunakan potongan pakaian. Dan sesampai di Kecamatan Batin XXIV, Kabupaten Batanghari, korban diturunkan dari dalam mobil dengan keadaan kondisi terikat, dan mobil serta barang bukti lainnya dibawah pelaku,” jelasnya.
Usai pelaku melarikan barang bukti milik korban, korban langsung melakukan pengaduan ke Polres Batanghari. Dan tim gabungan Satreskrim Polres Batanghari yang di Backup tim gabungan Resmob Polda Jambi berhasil mendapatkan informasi keberadaan para pelaku.
”Mendapatkan informasi keberadaan pelaku, tim penyelidik langsung turun ke TKP dan berhasil mengamankan dua pelaku pada Minggu 04 Februari 2024 pukul 02:30 WIB. Dan satu orang pelaku lagi berhasil melarikan diri yang saat ini menjadi DPO. Usai menangkap, tim gabungan langsung membawa pelaku ke Mapolres Batanghari untuk diproses hukum lebih lanjut,” ungkapnya.
Adapun barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan, berupa 1 unit mobil Honda warna merah tanpa Nopol. Dan hukuman para pelaku dikenakan pasal 365 Ayat (1)KUHP, dengan ancaman sembilan tahun penjara.
