Batangharinews.com - Untuk kesekian kalinya PT. Jawa Pos Agro (JPA) Group dalam hal ini PT. Dharmasraya Palma Sejatera ( DPS) dan PT. Putra Muda Brother (PMB) kembali mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan penanggulangan kebakaran Lahan dan Hutan. Hal ini dilakukan kembali dalam rangka mencegah dan mengantisipasi kebakaran lahan dan hutan khususnya diwilayah perkebunan PT. JPA Group.
"Ya. Kegiatan ini tiap tahun kita buat dan lakukan, apalagi saat ini musim kemarau yang rumayan cukup lama ," ungkap Pepi Hamzah, selaku Manajer Kebun PT. JPA Group ketika dihubungi media ini via ponsel kamis (03/09/2026).
Menuurut Pepi selaku menajer Kebun, kegiatan dilakukan di wilayah salah satu anak perusahaan perkebunan sawit milik PT. JPA Group yakni di PT. Putra Muda Brother (PMBE) yang berada di desa Padang Kelapo kecamatan Marosebo Ulu Kabupaten Batanghari. "Kegiatan kita laksanakan di PMB 1 September kemarin. Dengan melibatkan beberapa pihak, ada dari pihak kecamatan, Polsek MSU, Danramil, dan beberapa kades yang ada disekitar kebun PT. PMB ," beber Pepi
Selain beberapa kades dan pihak Polsek dan Danramil PT. JPA menggelar kegiatan pelatihan penanggulangan kebakaran lahan dan hutan ini bersama dengan pihak Damkar Kabupaten Batanghari berkompeten dalam menghadapi kebakaran lahan dan hutan. "Disini kita langsung kembali mendatangian pihak Damkar untuk dapat memastikan kesiapan tim perusahaan dalam mengantisipasi kebakaran dan simulasi dalam mengatasi kebakaran," tegas Pepi
Sekedar diketahui, pihak PT JPA disetiap anak perusahaannya sudah menyiapkan sapras Damkar sesuai regulasi dan aturan yant berlaku untuk setiap perusahaan Dak kegiatan ini menunjukkan jika perusahaan terus bersinergi dengan pihak pemerintahan serta TNI dan Polri dalam mencegah kebakaran hutan dan lahan.
