MUARABULIAN - Bupati Batanghari, Ir Syahirsah Sy menyambut kedatangan Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia, Imam Nahrowi, di SDN 163/1 Bulian Jaya, kecamatan Marosebo Ilir, Kamis (01/08).
Kedatangan Menpora RI itu dalam rangka serah terima renovasi Perpustakaan yang merupakan Program Tanoto Foundation yaitu #1Emas1Perpustakaan.
Hadir pada acara tersebut CEO Tanoto Foundation, Satrio Tanudjojo, Gubernur Jambi yang diwakili oleh Pejabat Pemerintah, Staf Ahli Menpora, Sekda Batanghari, 2 Atlet Pencak Silat Peraih Emas pada Asian Games 2018, para Kepala OPD dan para tamu undangan lainnya.
Menpora RI, Imam Nahrowi dalam sambutanya sangat mengapresiasi dengan komitmen dan program Tanoto yaitu 1 Emas 1 Perpustakaan. Karena ini sangat membantu memajukan dunia pendidikan.
" Saya sangat menyambut baik dengan program Tanoto ini, karena memajukan bidang pendidikan. Saya juga mengapresiasi atas inisiatif yang bagus dari Tanoto Foundation dengan program 1 Emas 1 Perpustakaan, karena pada Asian Games Tahun lalu, Atlet Indonesia berhasil meraih 31 Emas dan Tanoto telah memberikan bantuan untuk pembangunan 31 perpustakaan yang tersebar di beberapa Provinsi di Indonesia," kata Imam Nahrowi.
Acara serah terima renovasi Perpustakaan secara simbolis di resmikan oleh Menpora dengan menandatangani Prasasti Perpustakaan #1Emas1Perpustakaan didampingi Bupati Batanghari dan CEO Tanoto Foundation. Setelah itu Menpora didampingi Bupati dan CEO Tanoto Foundation meninjau Perpustakaan SD 163/1 Bulian Jaya yang telah di Renovasi.(*)
