BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Bertempat di Mako Polres Tebo, pada Senin (19/08/2019) pagi, Kapolres Tebo AKBP Zainal Arrahman, yang didampingi Kasat Reskrim AKP Muhammad Ridho Syawaluddin Taufan dan Kanit Tipidter IPDA Cindo Kottama menggelar Press Realese mengungkap kasus Ilegal Loging yang terjadi pada tanggal 24-07-2019 lalu.
Dalam press realese, Kapolres Tebo AKBP Zainal Arrahman juga menghadirkan dua orang tersangka yaitu AK (30) warga Rt.02 Desa Embacang Gedang, Kec. Muara Tabir dan ESW (23) Warga Desa Tanah Garo, Kec. Muara Tabir. Dirinya mengatakan bahwa pihaknya berhasil mengamankan tersangka saat melintas di jalan lintas Tebo-Jambi Kel. Sungai Bengkal, Kec Tebo Ilir.
"Waktu itu kedua tersangka mengangkut kayu bulat menggunakan mobil truck merk Mitsubishi Coltv tanpa Nopol dengan dilengkapi dokumen surat keterangan hasil hutan. Namun, dokumen yang digunakan tersebut tidak berlaku lagi," kata Kapolres.
"Dari keterangan tersangka, kayu tersebut milik ESW yang di ambil dari tanah Garo, Kec. Muara Tabir dan rencananya akan diantar ke Kabupaten Bataghari," timpal Kapolres.
Dari hasil penangkapan pelaku, polisi juga menyita sejumlah barang bukti (BB) berupa 1 Unit Mobil Truck Merk Mitsubishi Coli Diesel FE 74 HDV (4X2) warna kuning berisi kayu bulat berbagai macam jenis sebanyak 23 batang, satu lembar STNK Mobil, satu lembar surat keterangan sah hasil hutan kayu KB B.5270359, tanggal 22 juli 2019 penerbit an. " Kedua pelaku dan BB sudah diamankan di Polres Tebo untuk diproses lebih lanjut," ungkapnya.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka akan dikenakan pasal 88 Ayat (1) Huruf A JO Pasal 16 UU RI Nomor 18 Tahun 2013 Tentang pencegahan dan pemberantasan perusakan hutan JO pasal 35 KUHPidana pengangkutan kayu hasil hutan wajib memiliki dokumen yang merupakan surat keterangan sahnya hasil hutan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan.
