BATANGHARI - Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) ULP Muarabulian menyebut, kini tunggakan pelanggan di Muarabulian kurang lebih mencapai Rp 1 miliar dengan jumlah pelanggan yang menunggak sebanyak 1.000 pelanggan.
Tunggakan demikian besar, tentunya cukup mengganggu upaya PLN Muarabulian meningkatkan pelayanan.
Informasi ini diungkapkan Manajer PLN ULP Muarabulian, Agustina Pertiwi, saat dikonfirmasi media ini, Jum'at (18/10/2019).
Untuk menuntaskan permasalahan tersebut, diakuinya, PLN ULP Muarabulian akan terus melakukan himbauan dan sosialisasi kepada pelanggan yang belum membayar tagihan listriknya kepada PLN.
Himbauan yang akan dilakukan dalam waktu dekat ini pihaknya akan memberikan surat himbauan kepada seluruh pelanggan PLN di rumah pelanggan masing-masing. Surat himbauan ini berupa sanksi menunggak pembayaran listrik.
" Surat himbauan itu akan kita bagikan langsung ke rumah pelanggan, baik yang menunggak maupun yang tidak menunggak," katanya.
Disamping itu, lanjut dikatakannya, pihaknya juga akan terus melaksanakan eksekusi pada seluruh pelanggan yang menunggak pembayaran listrik. Ini diberlakukan pada pelanggan yang tunggakan listrik di atas satu hingga tiga bulan," katanya.
Agustina Pertiwi menegaskan, sambungan listrik pelanggan yang menunggak satu bulan, untuk itu PLN berhak melakukan pemutusan sementara aliran listrik di rumah pelanggan. Kemudian tunggakan dua bulan meskipun belum lewat tanggal 20, akan dikenakan sanksi pembongkaran kWh meter dan MCB, atau diputus kabel dari tiang, serta migrasi ke kWh meter prabayar. Sementara tiga bulan akan dikenakan sanksi pembongkaran rampung dan berhenti menjadi pelanggan PLN. Jika ingin menyambung kembali akan dikenakan biaya pasang baru prabayar dan wajib melunasi tagihan listrik sebelumnya.
" Untuk kenyamanan pelanggan, maka bayarlah tagihan rekening listrik diawal bulan sebelum tanggal 10 setiap bulannya," imbau Agustina.
Dikatakan Agustina, sekarang ini ada sekitar 60 ribu pelanggan PLN ULP Muarabulian. Dari jumlah itu, ada sekitar 1.000 pelanggan yang menunggak," tutup Agustina Pertiwi
