BATANGHARINEWS.COM - P emerintah kabupaten Batanghari segera memberikan 35 unit kendaraan operasional khususnya untuk Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) yang ada di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari.
Bantuan kendaraan operasional lapangan tersebut, akan diberikan kepada PPL yang kendaraan operasional nya sudah tua atau tidak layak lagi untuk dipakai.
Sehingga untuk mendorong dan memotivasi para PPL dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di lapangan, guna melakukan pembinaan dan melatih para petani untuk mendorong meningkatan hasil produksi pertanian di kabupaten Batanghari.
‘’ Pemkab akan memberikan 35 unit kendaraan operasional lapangan khususnya untuk PPL yang kendaraan operasional nya sudah tua,’’ ungkap Plt Kepala Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura (DTPH) Batanghari melalui Sekretaris DTPH Batanghari, Kemas A Zulkifli AP di Muarabulian, Jum'at (25/10/2019).
Diakui Zulkifli, bantuan kendaraan operasional untuk PPL itu melalui APBD kabupaten Batanghari tahun anggaran 2019 dengan jenis m otor Yamaha Jupiter Z.
" Penyerahan masih menunggu proses dan rencananya akan diserahkan kepada PPL pada Temu Teknis Penyuluh tingkat kabupaten Batanghari nanti. Dan direncanakan akan diserahkan secara simbolis oleh Bupati," kata Zulkifli.
Berkemungkinan pada bulan November, namun akan kita koordinasikan dengan bidang," tambahnya.
Menurutnya, peran dari petugas PPL sangat besar dalam melakukan percepatan dan peningkatan hasil produksi pertanian di kabupaten Batanghari.
‘’ Petugas PPL sebagai garda terdepan dalam menyukseskan program pertanian, dengan meningkatnya hasil produksi tanaman pangan petani di Batanghari. Kita terus berupaya memperhatikan para petani dengan menyalurkan bantuan bibit dan alat mesin pertanian,’’ ujarnya.
Dia berharap para PPL baik pertanian, perikanan dan perkebunan di Batanghari selaku garda terdepan dalam mensukseskan program pembangunan. Karena PPL selalu berhubungan dengan masyarakat terutama mendampingi para petani di setiap desa dan Kelurahan di Batanghari.
" Petugas PPL harus proaktif dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Terutama membantu dan memberikan perhatian kepada petani serta tempat konsultasi dalam membicarakan program pembangunan dibidangnya,’’ tuturnya. (mon)
