KUALATUNGKAL - Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat DR. Ir. H. Safrial, MS sambut kunjungan Taruna Sekolah Tinggi Transportasi Darat (STTD), mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Perikanan (STP) Jakarta dan Praja IPDN asal Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dalam rangka silaturahmi di Aula Utama Kantor Bupati. Kamis (02/01).
Turut Hadir mendampingi Bupati, Sekda Ir Agus Sanusi , Kepala BKPSDM Drs. Gatot Suwarso, MM, Kadishub Tanjab Barat Syamsul Jauhari, S. Sos, Kepala Bapeda Ir. Firdaus Khatab, Kadis Perikanan Netty Martini, Kadis Pendidikan dan Budaya Martunis, M. Pd. dan OPD terkait.
Bupati Safrial dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, selain pembangunan infrastruktur Pemkab Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat saat ini juga komitmen meningkatkan pembangunan sumber daya manusia. Sebagai upaya, Pemkab telah banyak lakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai sekolah tinggi, diantaranya STTD, Sekolah Tinggi Perikanan Jakarta, IPB, Universitas Sahid, SKK Migas, dan Sekolah Parawisata Bandung.
" Kita upayakan, putra dan putri Tanjab Barat ini memiliki kemampuan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja" ujarnya.
Safrial dalam sambutannya juga memotivasi kepada putra-putri Tanjab Barat yang sedang menempuh pendidikan untuk bersungguh-sungguh dalam menuntut ilmu. Safrial mengaku bangga kepada putra-putri daerah yang berhasil masuk seleksi berbagai sekolah tinggi.
" Kepada Putra Putri Tanjab Barat bercita -citalah setinggi mungkin, karena masa depan kalian masih panjang dan tentunya dengan usaha yang keras dan serius," ujar Safrial.
" Kedepan di zaman revolusi 4.0 ini jujur saja tidak cukup namun perlu dibarengi kecerdasan, kejujuran dan semangat, Saya bangga sekali saat ini dengan Taruna Taruni STTD, STP, dan IPDN yang berhasil dari Tungkal ini, disyukurilah apa yang telah dicapai, yang penting dengan orang tua tetap kita hargai dan kita bantu" tambah Bupati.
Sementra itu, Kepala BKPSDM Tanjab Barat Gatot Suwarso, MM dalam laporannya menyampaikan Taruna STTD berjumlah 20 orang, nantinya 8 orang akan kembali ke Daerah dan 12 orang lainnya akan disebar ke Kabupaten Kota Wilayah indonesia. Sedangkan untuk Taruna Taruni STP Jakarta Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat asal Tanjab Barat 7 orang dan untuk Tingkat 1 tahun masuk 2019 berjumlah 4 orang, dengan rincian program studi teknik penangkapan ikan 2 orang, penyuluh perikanan 1 orang, program studi pengelolaan sumber daya peraian 1 orang, dan Tingkat 2 tahun 2018 berjumlah 3 orang. Dalam silaturahmi ini hadir juga sebanyak 4 orang praja Istitut Pemerintahan dalam negeri (IPDN) asal Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
