TANJABBARAT - Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Dr. Ir. H. Safrial MS pimpin langsung pelaksanaan upacara gabungan Pemkab Tanjab Barat dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jadi Provinsi Jambi ke 63 yang digelar di Halaman Kantor Bupati pada Senin (06/01).
Membacakan sambutan Gubernur Jambi, Safrial sampaikan tantangan dan rintangan kedepan dalam rangka membangun Provinsi Jambi tidak mudah. Disampaikannya, Pemprov Jambi saat ini fokus dalam meningkatkan perekonomian daerah malalui penumbuhan daya saing produk unggulan daerah.
Hal ini sesuai dengan tema peringatan HUT Jambi kali ini, "Dengan HUT Ke-63 Provinsi Jambi, Kita Tingkatkan Daya Saing Daerah, Dengan memacu Kualitas Produk Unggulan Daerah, Menuju Jambi Tuntas 2021".
Di sektor lain, Pemprov Jambi juga terus berupaya membangun dalam rangka mewujudkan Provinsi Jambi lebih baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan capaian Pemprov jambi di berbagai sektor, seperti penurunan angka kemiskinan, peningkatan akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah, peningkatan pelayanan publik, peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), serta capaian lainnya.
Usai upacara, Safrial sampaikan ucapan selamat Hari Jadi ke 63 untuk Provinsi Jambi, ia berharap kedepannya provinsi jambi menjadi provinsi yang unggul.
"Tentu dengan pelayanan yang efektif, efesien, tanggap, transparan, akuntable dan responsif," ujarnya.
"Saya juga mengajak semua lapisan untuk bersama - sama dengan kebersamaan, dengan gotong royong menjadikan jambi adil dan makmur," pungkasnya.
Usai upacara, Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat melalui dinas perpustakaan serahkan piagam penghargaan Tokoh Masyarakat kepada Alm. K.H Abdul Halim. Piagam penghargaan diserahkan langsung oleh Bupati didampingi Forkopimda serta Pejabat lainnya dan diterima oleh langsung oleh perwakilan keluarga.
Turut hadir mengikuti upacara peringatan HUT Jambi ke 63 Pemkab Tanjab Barat, Forkopimda, Sekretaris Daerah, Asisten, Staf Ahli, Kepala OPD, Kepala Bagian Lingkup Sekretariat Daerah, serta Peserta upacara yang merupakan Pegawai seluruh instasi lingkup Pemkab Tanjung Jabung Barat.
