JAMBI – Aksi unjuk rasa yang digelar oleh beberapa elemen mahasiswa ke DPRD Provinsi Jambi menyuarakan penolakan terhadap Undang-undang Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja akhirnya membubarkan diri senja tadi, Senin (12/10/2010).
Walau sempat terjadi kericuhan antara aparat kepolisian dan pengunjuk rasa yang berusaha menerobos gedung DPRD, akhirnya massa meninggalkan kawasan gedung DPRD setelah Ketua DPRD Edi Purwanto dan beberapa anggota dewan menemui satu persatu kelompok aksi dan berkomitmen untuk meneruskan aspirasi mereka.
Berawal dari aksi mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam aliansi paguyuban. Di tengah rintik hujan, Edi bersama Rocky Chandra, wakil ketua DPRD dan Akmaludin dari Fraksi PDI Perjuangan berdialog dengan para pengunjuk rasa dan berjanji untuk mendukung dan meneruskan aspirasi mereka.
Setelah itu, Edi bersama Rocky Chandra dan Akmaludin langsung berjalan kaki menuju simpang Bank Indonesia (BI) untuk menerima aspirasi dari pengunjuk rasa yang tergabung dalam aliansi OKP. Namun sayang, karena Pejabat Sementara (PjS) Gubernur tidak hadir di lokasi maka tidak tercapai kesepakatan antara kedua belah pihak.
Ba’da Sholat Ashar Edi, Rocky, Akmal dan Asisten 1 Sekda Provinsi Jambi, Apani yang mewakili Pjs Gubernur Jambi menjumpai massa dari Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) yang telah menunggu di pendopo lapangan kantor gubernur Jambi.
Selanjutnya Edi dan rombongan berjalan kembali menemui kumpulan massa dari aliansi OKP, yang awalnya belum menemui kesepakatan. Akhirnya bersama Asisten 1, Edi menandatangani tuntutan dari mahasiswa dan akan meneruskannya ke pemerintah pusat.
“Kami akan meneruskan ini, dan semoga bapak presiden mendengarkan aspirasi kita, saya dan DPRD provinsi Jambi satu rampak barisan dengan adik-adik semua,” tutup Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi ini.(*)
