JAMBI - Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) Gubernur Jambi, Ir. Restuardy (Ardy) Daud,M.Sc secara daring/virtual mengikuti Rapat Antisipasi Penyebaran Covid-19 Saat Libur Panjang Akhir Oktober 2020 di Ruang Kerja Gubernur, Kantor Gubernur Jambi, Kamis (22/10/20).
Rapat tersebut diadakan oleh Pemerintah Pusat dengan Pemerintah Daerah seluruh Indonesia.
Pjs. Gubernur Jambi menegaskan perlunya langkah antisipasi hadapi beberapa kondisi saat libur pada akhir bulan Oktober Tahun 2020 yang diperkirakan terjadi peningkatan aktivitas atau kunjungan masyarakat dari satu tempat ke daerah lain. "Saya mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan, batasi kerumunan, dan mari rencanakan liburan secara produktif," ungkap Ardy Daud.
Ardy Daud mengatakan, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi akan menindaklanjutinya guna mengambil langkah-langkah yang perlu dipersiapkan hingga liburan tiba masyarakat tetap terjaga kesehatannya. "Pemerintah Daerah akan siapkan tempat pelayanan kesehatan, supaya siaga selama libur untuk pos-pos pemantauan, guna memperlancar arus lalu lintas dan sebagainya, pada Dinas Perhubungan berkoordinasi dengan Polda Jambi," jelas Ardy Daud.
Mendagri Tito Karnavian saat membuka rapat tersebut mengingatkan, libur Maulid Nabi tanggal 29 Oktober dan cuti bersama 28-30 Oktober 2020 perlu antisipasi pengamanan, pengaturan arus lalu lintas, juga tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan Covid-19.
Sementara Menko Polhukam Mahfud MD tegaskan dalam menghadapi masa libur tetap sejalan dengan kebijakan pokok pemerintah terkait protokol kesehatan yang sudah lama dikerjakan. "Terjadi kerumunan dan potensi penularan seperti di transportasi umum, terminal, tempat rekreasi, dan ini harus diantisipasi jangan sampai menjadi klaster baru penularan Covid-19," tegas Mahfud MD.
Aktivitas masyarakat dari satu daerah ke daerah lain, termasuk adanya suasana keakraban bertemu teman dan keluarga saat libur akhir Oktober ini diharapkan dapat berjalan lancar dan penularan Covid 19 tidak meningkat hingga masa libur tiba, kesehatan terjaga, dan masyarakat bahagia.
