MUAROJAMBI - Sesosok mayat laki-laki tanpa identitas ditemukan mengapung di sungai Batanghari, tepatnya di Rt 01 desa Tebat Patah, kecamatan Taman Rajo, kabupaten Muaro Jambi pada Kamis (5/11/20).
Seperti yang disampaikan Kapolres Muaro Jambi AKBP Ardiyanto, melalui kasubag Humas polres Muaro Jambi AKP Amradi. Ia menjelaskan, Kapolsubsektor Taman Rajo mendapat informasi dari masyarakat, bahwa ada mayat mengapung dialiran sungai Batanghari tepatnya Rt. 01 lokasi PT. Mas Hijau desa Tebat Patah kecamatan Taman Rajo, bersama dengan petugas piket langsung menuju TKP.
Penemuan mayat ini, kata AKP Amradi bermula saat warga bernama Mastur melintas dari PT. Pelita untuk menjemput penumpang dengan mengunakan pompong, melihat mayat mengapung dialiran sungai Batang hari tepat nya lokasi PT. Mas Hijau, kemudian saksi ketakutan dan memanggil rekannya untuk memastikan benda tersebut. Kemudiian Mastur memangggil rekannya yaitu Irvan dan Hendri melalui telpon, lalu ketiga orang itu menghampiri mayat tersebut dengan menggunakan dua buah perahu ketek. Selanjutnya mayat tersebut ditarik kepinggir sungai dan diikat agar tidak hanyut terbawa arus sungai batanghari," jelasnya.
Selanjutnya, sekira pukul 15.30 wib datang 2 orang ke TKP mengaku sebagai teman korban yang menerangkan bahwa seorang temannya dua hari yang lalu hilang tanpa kabar.
“Setelah diperlihatkan korban kepada kedua orang tersebut, kedua orang tersebut mengakui dan mengenal bahwa Mayat korban tersebut benar adalah temannya,” lanjutnya.
Dua orang yang mengaku teman korban tersebut ialah Valentino, umur 22 tahun,
