MUAROJAMBI - Warga RT 01 Desa Sekernan kecamatan Sekernan, kabupaten Muaro Jambi menangkap ular jenis piton sepanjang lebih kurang tujuh meter. Ular besar tersebut diketahui memangsa dua ekor kambing milik warga, pada Senin (30/11/20).
Riko salah seorang saksi mata menuturkan, ular tersebut berhasil ditangkap oleh sekitar 18 orang warga. Diketahui di dalam perut ular tersebut ada dua ekor kambing warga yang telah dilahapnya.
"Ular itu memangsa dua ekor kambing milik warga, kemungkinan ular ini berasal dari seberang sungai Batanghari, karena kondisi air sungai yang naik maka ia keluar untuk mencari makan," sebutnya.
Ular tersebut sempat menjadi tontonan warga sekitar, karena ukurannya Yang terbilang besar sehingga membuat masyarakat terheran-heran dengan kemunculan ular tersebut.
"Sempat menjadi tontonan warga, masyarakat heran karena memang ukuran nya terbilang sangat besar sekali," tutupnya.
