MUAROJAMBI - Guna mengantisipasi peredaran gelap narkoba yang kerap meresahkan masyarakat desa Pulau Kayu Aro, kecamatan Sekernan, kabupaten Muaro Jambi, pemerintah desa Pulau Kayu Aro melakukan penjagaan dan memasang portal di pintu masuk masuk ke dalam desa setiap malam, Selasa (09/02/21).
Kasat Reserse Narkoba polres Muaro Jambi, Iptu Feisal yang juga hadir saat melaksanakan tugas patroli ikut melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap warga yang datang dari luar desa Pulau Kayu Aro yang ingin masuk. Diharapkan dengan adanya portal dan penjagaan seperti ini peredaran gelap narkoba di desa Pulau Kayu Aro dapat diminimalisir.
"Semoga dengan dibangunnya pos di pintu masuk desa Pulau Kayu Aro peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba di wilayah ini dapat diminimalisir," sebutnya.
Sementara itu, Hikmah selaku kepala Desa Pulau Kayu Aro menyebut, pemerintah desa berinisiatif mengaktifkan pos kamling dan penjagaan di pintu masuk desa dengan melibatkan seluruh pemerintah desa sebagai upaya pencegahan peredaran narkoba di desa Pulau Kayu Aro yang kerap meresahkan masyarakat.
"Saya selaku Kepala Desa berinisiatif untuk melakukan pencegahan peredaran narkoba dengan pengaktifan kembali Pos Kamling Desa. Petugas yang jaga adalah Perangkat Desa, mulai dari BPD Serta Para Ketua RT. Kami tahu usaha seperti ini tidak serta-merta menghilangkan peredaran narkoba di desa kami tapi setidaknya pemerintah desa telah melakukan upaya-upaya pencegahan sedini mungkin agar peredaran narkoba dapat di minimalisir, bahkan jika bisa dihilangkan," tutupnya.
