Untuk itu ketahanan pangan lanjut bupati, harus ditingkatkan. Daerah yang kuat ketahanan pangannya, akan bisa mengatasi dampak Covid-19. Tapi sambung bupati, daerah yang lemah ketahanan pangannya bisa habis oleh dampak Covid-19.

‘’Kalau Jambi ketahanan pangannya baik, dampak Covid-19 bisa dielakan, sehingga ekonomi kerakyatan bisa cepat dipuluhkan. Untuk itu, pelayanan publik jangan sampai terganggu karena dampak Covid-19,’’ pinta Bupati.

Pada kesempatan itu bupati minta seluruh peserta rapat dapat cermati arah pembangunan Kabupaten Merangin. Sesuatu program kegiatan yang pernah ada dan dilakukan, jangan sampai malah ditinggal.

Sebelum memimpin jalannya rapat, bupati terlebih dahulu mengabsen satu persatu kepala OPD yang mengikuti jalannya rapat secara virtual tersebut. ‘’Percuma saya ngoceh disini kalau tidak ada yang mendengar,’’ tandas Bupati.
