JAMBI – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Jambi, Dr. Hari Nur Cahya Murni. M.Si meminta Wali Kota Sungai Penuh Ahmdi Zubir dan Wakilnya Alvia Santoni yang baru dilantik dapat membuat terobosan dan akselerasi pembangunan untuk kemajuan daerah dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
"Saya berharap pemerintah yang baru dilantik dapat meningkatkan kemajuan dan kesejahteraan Kota Sungai Penuh dengan memaksimalkan seluruh sumber daya yang dimiliki Kota Sungai Penuh, serta berbakti kepada masyarakat serta nusa dan bangsa," kata Pj. Gubernur saat melantik Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Sungai Penuh hasil pilkada serentak tahun 2020 di ruang Auditorium Rumah Dinas Gubernur, Jum,at (25/06/2021).
Selain itu, Pj. Gubernur juga minta Walikota Sungai dan Wakil Walikota Sungai Penuh dapat menjalankan tugas sesuai dengan undang-undang dan peraturan dengan selurus-lurusnya.
Pelantikan ini, Kata Pj Gubernur tidak terlepas dari telah selesainya proses penyelenggaraan pesta demokrasi pemilihan kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah di Kota Sungai Penuh.
"Saya mengucapkan selamat kepada Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Sungai Penuh hasil Pilkada serentak tahun 2020. Terimakasih kepada penyelenggara Pilkada, KPU dan Bawaslu serta dukungan dari Pemerintah Kota Sungai Penuh, TNI, Polri, dan partisipasi yang baik dari masyarakat," ucapnya.
Dengan pelantikan ini, Pj Gubernur mengingatkan bahwa kontestasi politik telah berakhir. Sekarang, lanjut ia saatnya semua komponen bersatu untuk membangun Kota Sungai Penuh sesuai dengan visi misi yang diusung serta tetap mempedomani azas manfaat.
Selain melantik Wali Kota dan Wakil Walikota Sengai Penuh, dalam acara tersebut Pj Gubernur juga melantik Ketua TP -PKK dan Ketua Dekranasda Kota Sungai Penuh.
