Batangharinews.com, BANGKOK - Serikat media siber Indonesia (SMSI) Provinsi Jambi melakukan lawatannya ke Thailand, pada 3-7 September 2024.
Kegiatan ini merupakan lanjutan dari tahun 2023 sambangi 2 Negara, yaitu Malaysia dan Singapura.
Hari ini (Jum,at, 6/09/2024) SMSI Jambi berkunjung ke Kedutaan besar republik Indonesia (KBRI) di Bangkok, Thailand.
"Kami berterima kasih karena telah di terima dengan baik, kami SMSI Jambi melakukan kegiatan rutin berkunjung ke KBRI, tahun lalu juga kami berkunjung ke KJRI Johor Bahru," ujar Pirma Satria, Sekretaris SMSI Jambi.
Sedangkan Muhktadi Putra Nusa menuturkan bahwa ada 21 orang yang turut dalam rombongan.
"Kami 21 orang terdiri dari berbagai media, kami tergabung dalam SMSI ini adalah perusahaan pers," ungkap Muhktadi Putranusa.
Dia juga turut menjelaskan tujuan dari kunjungan yang dilakukan ke berbagai negara.
"Kami mengunjungi media lokal di negara tersebut, lalu ke pihak kedutaan dan tak kalah pentingnya kami tentunya melihat dari semua sisi seperti sosial budaya, wisata dan kearifan lokalnya," jelas Mukhtadi Putranusa.
"Lantas apa tujuan kami ke KBRI, kami ingin mendapat sharing seperti apa warga negara Indonesia yang berdomisili disini," tutupnya menambahkan.
Enang Siti Sondari selaku Sekretaris Pertama Pensosbud KBRI Bangkok, menuturkan tercatat 2.236 orang.
"WNI berdomisili di Bangkok yang tercatat di data Lapor Diri ada 2.236 orang. Namun diperkirakan jumlah tersebut masih jauh di bawah jumlah yang sebenarnya," sebut dia.
"WNI yang berasal dari Jambi ada, tapi jumlahnya tidak banyak," tambahnya.
Dari penjelasan Enang Siti Sondari, jumlah 2.236 orang itu mayoritas pekerja profesional, PMI formal, pelajar, dan WNI yang menikah dengan WNA.
"Mayoritas pekerja profesional, PMI formal, pelajar, dan WNI yang menikah dengan WNA," jelasnya.
Pada kesempatan ini, kata dia banyak agenda KBRI Bangko yang akan diselenggarakan di Thailand
"Bulan September sampai Oktober 2024, KBRI Bangkok sedang dan akan melaksanakan rangkaian kegiatan Trade, Tourism, Investment, and Cultural Forum, yang terdiri dari Indonesia Fair, 6-8 September 2024, Business Forum tanggal 13 Sepetmber 2024, Indonesian Cultural Night, 15 September 2024, dan Pamerah Lukisan Kolaborasi Indonesia-Thailand, 2-30 Oktober 2024," urainya mengakhiri.
