JAMBI – Ancaman kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) di Provinsi Jambi, khususnya di kawasan gambut Tanjung Jabung Barat, kini mendapat atensi tingkat nasional. Komitmen tersebut dibuktikan melalui kehadiran Wakil Bupati Tanjab Barat, Dr. H. Katamso, S.A., S.E., M.E., dalam Rapat Koordinasi (Rakor) Penanganan Karhutla Tingkat Provinsi Jambi yang digelar secara tertutup di Ruang VIP Bandara Sultan Thaha, Rabu (2/9/2026).
Rakor berkelas ini dipimpin langsung oleh dua tokoh kunci nasional: Kepala Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), Letjen TNI Dr. Suharyanto, dan Menteri Kehutanan RI, Raja Juli Antoni. Pertemuan strategis ini menjadi momentum krusial untuk menyelaraskan langkah antara pemerintah pusat, provinsi, dan kabupaten/kota dalam menghadapi musim kemarau yang berpotensi memicu titik panas (hotspot) melonjak.
Bantuan Dana Siap Pakai (DSP) Cair untuk Tanjab Barat
Poin paling signifikan dari rakor ini adalah penyerahan bantuan Dana Siap Pakai (DSP) senilai Rp500.043.000 khusus untuk penanganan darurat bencana asap akibat Karhutla Tahun Anggaran 2026. Bagi Tanjab Barat, dana ini bukan sekadar angka, melainkan "bahan bakar" operasional untuk mempercepat respons di lapangan.
Mengingat karakteristik wilayah Tanjab Barat yang didominasi lahan gambut—yang sulit dipadamkan jika sudah terbakar hingga ke lapisan dalam—dukungan logistik dan peralatan dari pusat menjadi sangat vital. Dana ini akan digunakan untuk memperkuat posko siaga, pengadaan alat pemadam api ringan (APAR), penyediaan masker bagi masyarakat terdampak, serta operasional patroli pencegahan.
Sinergi Tiga Level Pemerintahan: Pusat, Provinsi, Kabupaten
Wabup Katamso menegaskan bahwa penanganan Karhutla tidak bisa dilakukan sendiri oleh satu daerah. "Komitmen kami sangat kuat. Dengan adanya sinergi bersama BNPB, Kementerian Kehutanan, Pemprov Jambi, TNI-Polri, dan BPBD, kami optimis dapat menekan jumlah titik panas sebelum meluas," ujarnya.
Dalam rakor tersebut, juga dievaluasi kesiapan Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Karhutla, mulai dari kelengkapan personel, ketersediaan water bombing, hingga mekanisme respons cepat. Tanjab Barat berkomitmen untuk tidak hanya mengandalkan pemadaman saat api muncul, tetapi lebih fokus pada pencegahan melalui patroli rutin dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat agar tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar.
Bersama Bupati Se-Jambi, Satu Visi: Jambi Bebas Asap
Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri oleh kepala daerah lain di Jambi, termasuk Bupati Muaro Jambi Bambang Bayu Suseno, Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur Dillah Hikmah Sari, dan Bupati Batanghari Muhammad Fadhil Arief. Kehadiran mereka menunjukkan bahwa isu Karhutla adalah tanggung jawab kolektif seluruh elemen pemerintahan di Jambi.
Dengan kucuran dana DSP dan koordinasi intensif ini, Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat mengirimkan pesan jelas: Kami siap siaga 24 jam. Gambut mungkin rentan, tetapi dengan persiapan matang dan dukungan penuh dari pusat, Tanjab Barat bertekad menjaga udara bersih dan melindungi warga dari bahaya kabut asap.
