Kadisdikbud Batanghari saat menghadiri pemberian bantuan buku bacaan ke sejumlah sekolah di kecamatan Maro Sebo Ilir
MUARABULIAN - Dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan kabupaten Batanghari diawal tahun 2019 mengapresiasi bantun buku bacaan kepada siswa di beberap sekolah. Hal tersebut sangat membantu sekolah dalam penambahan jumlah unit buku yang ada saat ini.
“ Buku bacaan ini sangat dibutuhkan sekolah, apalagi sekarang satu lembaga filontrafi tanoto foundation juga sudah bekerjasama dalam memajukan pendidikan,” ujar Kadis PdK Batanghari, Dra Jamilah, kemarin.
Ia menyebutkan, dampak ini sudah mulai dirasakan dibeberapa sekolah, siswa bisa memilih buku dengan banyak judul. Bahkan ini dapat memacu anak dalam pembiasaan membaca buku sebagai tambahan dari pembelajaran dikelas.
” Pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Tanoto Foundation atas pembagian buku ini, semoga dengan adanya buku bacaan ini, minat membaca anak di Batang Hari semakin meningkat,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut Jamilah juga mengatakan, Salah satu penggerak dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di sekolah yakni kebutuhan buku bacaan yang cukup. Beberapa waktu lalu dari pihak luar juga berkeliling memberikan buku bacaan secara gratis. Hal ini diharapkan dapat memacu pihak lain dapat membantu buku bacaan ini ke sekolah di kabupaten Batanghari.
“ Saya sangat meapresiasi jika ada pihak luar lain darimanapun yang akan menyumbangkan buku ke sekolah,” cetusnya.
Untuk itu, dengan adanya bantuan yang diberikan sekolah, Guru maupun manajerial disekolah dalam pembiasaan kepada siswa untuk membaca dapat ditingkatkan lagi. Terlebih lagi bagaimana anak dapat membaca dan tidak membosankan. “ Buatkan membaca itu sangat menyenangkan bagi anak, ini tanggung jawa kita semua agar dengan membaca wawasan dan pengetahuan anak terus bertambah,” pungkas Jamilah.
