JAMBI-Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Provinsi Jambi yang membidangi persoalan pendidikan, melakukan inspeksi mendadak (sidak) ke dua Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri di Kota Jambi . Yakni SMAN 1 dan SMAN 5. Kamis (8/7/2021)
Khairil Ketua Komisi IV mengatakan Sidak ini dilakukan kerena melihat Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) SMA Negeri dan SMK Negeri khususnya di Kota Jambi setiap tahun selalu menjadi perhatian masyarakat.
Ia juga menjelaskan Persoalannya adalah tidak semua Calon Peserta Didik Baru dapat diterima pada SMA dan SMK Negeri tersebut yang disebabkan terbatasnya daya tampung. Dan juga tidak seimbangnya antara ketersediaan rombongan belajar (Rombel) dengan lulusan SMP dan MTS setiap tahunnya.
Ditambahnya Untuk PPDB tahun pelajaran 2021-2022, terdapat empat jalur yaitu zonasi (zonasi 1, 2 dan 3), afirmasi (keluarga tidak mampu dan disabel), pindah tugas orangtua (PTO) dan prestasi (akademik dan akademik).
Sedangkan Kuota untuk jalur zonasi 55 persen , afirmasi 15 persen , PTO 3 persen dan prestasi 27persen.
Apabila kuota jalur Afirmasi tidak terpenuhi, maka sisa kuota akan dialihkan ke jalur prestasi.
Selanjutnya bila kuota jalur prestasi tidak terpenuhi dapat dialihkan ke jalur zonasi, sesuai SK Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jambi Nomor : KPTS/164.a/DISDIK-1.3/VI/2021.
Melaksanakan fungsi pengawasan, Komisi IV DPRD Provinsi Jambi harus dapat memastikan bahwa penerimaan siswa baru melalui PPDB online telah sesuai dengan Juknis yang telah ditetapkan termasuk jumlah siswa baru yang diterima sesuai dengan kuota yang telah ditentukan dan tidak ada penerimaan diluar ketentuan.
Mengacu pada Keputusan Gubernur Nomor 374/KEP.GUB/Disdik-2.3/2021 tentang daya tampung, bahwa daya tampung untuk SMA Negeri di Kota Jambi tahun pelajaran 2021-2022 sebanyak 3.909 dari 122 Rombel dan SMK Negeri sebanyak 2.624 siswa dari 82 Rombel.
Sidak ke dua Sekolah paforit di Kota Jambi yaitu SMA Negeri 1 dan SMA Negeri 5. Daya tampung kedua SMA tersebut adalah 300 siswa untuk SMA Negeri 1 dan 396 siswa untuk SMA.
Hasil pemantauan di lapangan, SMA Negeri 1 menerima 300 siswa dengan 10 Rombel dan SMA Negeri 5 sebanyak 381 siswa dengan 12 Rombel.
Untuk SMA Negeri 1 jumlah siswa yang diterima sama dengan daya tampungnya, sedangkan untuk SMA Negeri 5 jumlah siswa yang diterima sebanyak 381 siswa lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan daya tampungnya, atau selisih 15 orang siswa yang disebabkan tidak terpenuhinya daya tampung dari jalur zona 1 (≤ 400 meter).
Setelah melakukan inspeksi ke kedua SMA Negeri tersebut, selaku Ketua Komisi IV Khairil meyakini bahwa melalui PPDB Online yang dilaksanakan secara transparan dan sesuai Juknis yang sudah ditetapkan, kualiatas pendidikan SMA dan SMK di Provinsi Jambi akan dapat ditingkatkan.
Fakta integritas yang sudah ditandatangani semakin menambah optimisme akan kualitas pendidikan Menengah Atas di Provinsi Jambi.
Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, pihak mengingatkan kepada PLT Kepala Dinas Pendidikan maupun Kepala Sekolah untuk tidak melakukan hal-hal diluar yang sudah digariskan dalam Juknis PPDB.
"Setelah selesai proses registrasi tanggal 9 dan 10 Juli, Komisi IV DPRD Provinsi Jambi akan melakukan inspeksi kembali tidak hanya ke ke SMA Negeri 1 dan SMA Negeri 5 tetapi juga ke SMA dan SMK Negeri lainnya."ucapnya.
