JAMBI – Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto, bersama Danrem 042/Garuda Putih Brigjen TNI Supriono, dan Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia (BI) Provinsi Jambi Suti Masniari Nasution melakukan kunjungan ke lokasi Orang Rimba di Dusun Sungai Terab, Desa Jelutih, Kecamatan Batin XXIV, Kabupaten Batanghari, Senin (28/3/2022).
Kunjungan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari kunjungan Menteri Sosial Tri Rismaharini pada 16 Maret lalu, dimana saat itu salah satu Temenggung Orang Rimba menyampaikan bahwa mereka membutuhkan sepeda motor sebagai alat transportasi.
“Waktu kunjungan Bu Menteri kemarin, Temenggung Ngelembo menyampaikan ke saya, saya tanya apa yang dibutuhkan, katanya butuh motor, waktu itu Temenggung minta 10, tapi kita kasih 2 dulu dak ? Ini dibawa oleh yang banyak sen (duit, red) ko,” kata Edi Purwanto sambil menunjuk kepada Kepala Perwakilan BI Jambi Suti Masniari Nasution.
Edi yang juga merupakan Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan provinsi Jambi ini menyampaikan bahwa saat Presiden Jokowi datang melihat Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) adalah bukti bahwa Presiden memiliki komitmen yang besar untuk mendorong peradaban SAD yang berada di dalam hutan bisa memiliki masa depan yang sama seperti masyarakat pada umumnya.
“Itu tugas Bapak Temenggung bagaimana 20 tahun ke depan Gubernur Jambi bisa dari orang rimba (suku anak dalam, red), bupati juga, semuanya bisa, kami juga dari dusun, orang-orang dusun,” jelas Edi.
Sementara Danrem 042/Garuda Putih Brigjen TNI Supriono menyampaikan bahwa setelah sebulan menjadi Komandan Korem, dirinya belum pernah ke wilayah lain, kunjungan ke orang rimba ini menjadi wilayah kerja terjauhnya.
“Saya datang untuk menemui saudara-saudara saya, suku anak dalam, mudah-mudahan kehadiran saya ini bisa memberikan semangat bagi prajurit kami di lapangan,” jelas Supriono
“Disini ada beberapa kodim, diantaranya adalah Kodim Jambi, yang membawahi kabupaten Batanghari, disana ada Danramil, babinsa, diantaranya 2 orang aktif mengajar (anak-anak orang rimba, red), pak Teguh, dan pak Giman, jadi anggota kita juga kita libatkan berperan aktif disini,” sambung Supriono.
Pada kesempatan yang sama Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia provinsi Jambi, yang juga Ketua Badan Musyawarah Perbankan Daerah (BMPD) Provinsi Jambi, Suti Masniari Nasution menyampaikan bahwa Bank Indonesia hadir dan turut berkontribusi dalam membantu memecahkan masalah sosial ekonomi yang dihadapi masyarakat, antara lain melalui penyaluran bantuan Program Sosial Bank Indonesia (PSBI).
“Pada kesempatan ini, sebagai bentuk kepedulian kepada warga SAD Sungai Terab, Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia provinsi Jambi menyerahkan bantuan 100 paket bahan pokok, alat tulis dan bingkisan untuk anak,” tutur Suti.
“Selain itu, Bank Indonesia bersinergi dengan BMPD provinsi Jambi juga memberikan bantuan berupa 2 unit motor trail untuk warga SAD Sungai Terab,” lanjut Suti.
Selain pemberian bantuan, ada juga pemberian penghargaan dari KKI Warsi kepada dua orang Babinsa, Teguh dan Giman.
Kegiatan juga diisi dengan Edukasi Cinta, Bangga dan Paham Rupiah oleh Bank Indonesia.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan kunjungan ke Orang Rimba ini, Sekwan DPRD Provinsi Jambi Amir Hasbi, Kadinsosdukcapil Provinsi Jambi Arif Munandar, Perwakilan Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari, Dandim Jambi Kolonel Sriyanto, Wakapolres Batanghari dan Robert dari KKI Warsi.
