JAMBI – Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto mengatakan, polemik batu bara merupakan persoalan serius yang terus mendapat tanggapan bagi masyarakat. Pemerintah kata Edi seakan dilemah terkait dengan persoalan “emas hitam tersebut” khususnya terkait operasional angkutan batu bara.
Disatu sisi, sebut Edi keberadaan tambang batu bara menopang pertumbuhan ekonomi Derah dan Negara. Disisi lain keberadaan tambang justru menimbulkan persoalan ditengah masyarakat.
“Batu bara ini menjadi masalah yang sangatlah serius. Disatu sisi kita memikirkan ekonomi, disatu sisi ada masalah laka, kemacetan yang mengganggu sektor yang lain,” kata Edi saat menghadiri Rakor lanjutan pembahasan mengenai persoalan angkutan batu bara di auditorium Rumah Dinas Gubernur Jambi, Senin (4/4/2022).
Salah satu solusi untuk memecah masalah angkutan batu bara, sebut Edi adalah dengan konsisten menjalankan aturan agar goalnya tercapai. Menata plat kendaraan batu bara agar semua nomor kendaraan berlabel plat Jambi juga dinilai penting.
“Yang penting ada konsistensinya, jangan menjalankan aturan gak konsisten supaya goalnya tercapai. Kita juga mulai menata plat plat mobil, kan gak semua pakai plat Jambi, ada BG, ada BE. Ada dua kemungkinan, kalau tidak mau platnya diubah ya sudah tidak usah beroperasi di Jambi,” tegas Edi.
Mengacu kepada aturan, lanjut edi Penggunaan BBM Subsidi untuk truk angkutan batu bara termasuk pelanggaran UU. Hal ini juga perlu rumusan.
“Alhamdulilah beberapa daerah tidak boleh lagi menggunakan cara-cara inkonstitusional. Seperti kemarin ibu Dirut bilang, tidak boleh mobil batubara menggunakan solar subsidi itu melanggar UU,” kata Edi.
