MUARABULIAN – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Batanghari menggelar Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) terkait persoalan anjloknya harga tandan buah segar (TBS) kelapa sawit, Rabu (18/5/2022).
Rapat dengar pendapat ini dilaksanakan di ruang BANGGAR DPRD Batanghari.
Dalam rapat ini DPRD Kabupaten Batanghari mengundang pihak Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) yang ada di Kabupaten Batanghari, pihak Koperasi yang mewakili para Petani Sawit.
Rapat dengar pendapat ini dihadiri langsung oleh Wakil Ketua I DPRD Batanghari M. Ja'far, SH dan Wakil Ketua II DPRD Batanghari Ilhamuddin.
Kemudian pimpinan Komisi, Sekretaris Daerah Batanghari Muhamad Azan, anggota DPRD, dan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) yang terkait.
Wakil Ketua I DPRD Batanghari, M. Ja'far mengatakan, rapat dengar pendapat ini merupakan bentuk bagian dari keprihatinan dan kepedulian kepada masyarakat khususnya para petani sawit.
“Hari ini kita menggelar rapat dengar pendapat bersama OPD teknis, pabrik kelapa sawit dan pihak Koperasi perwakilan dari kecamatan,” kata Ja'far.
Ja'far juga mengatakan, rapat dengar pendapat kali ini untuk menyuarakan aspirasi masyarakat Kabupaten Batanghari khususnya petani sawit soal anjloknya harga sawit dan bersama – sama mencari solusinya.
“Kita sudah mendengar saran dan masukan dari para perwakilan koperasi dan OPD teknis dan PKS yang hadir. Kita semua sepakat bahwa meminta pemerintah pusat dalam hal ini presiden untuk mencabut larangan ekspor CPO tersebut,” tegas Ja'far.
Sementara itu Wakil Ketua II DPRD Batanghari, Ilhamuddin juga memaparkan, bahwa pihaknya akan terus berupaya untuk mendorong kepada Pemerintah Pusat untuk mencabut larangan ekspor CPO ini. Ia juga meminta perusahaan juga turut mensupport.
“Disini kami meminta para perusahaan juga mensupport dan mendukung untuk mencabut larangan ekspor CPO ini, dan ini harus kita sampaikanlah kepada pemerintah pusat,” ungkapnya.
