MUARABULIAN - Jumlah Penyuluh Agama Islam Non Pegawai Negri Sipil (PNS) di Kabupaten Batanghari saat ini berjumlah 68 orang.
Mereka ini ditempatkan di Kecamatan yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Batanghari, yang aman tugasnya adalah untuk membantu program agama Islam di tengah masyarakat.
“Jumlah penyuluh agama islam Non PNS untuk Batanghari berjumlah 68 orang, mereka ditempatkan di Kecamatan, tidak untuk di Desa-desa dengan tempat tugas diatur oleh koordinator di Desa dan Kelurahan dan Kecamatan,” demikian kata Kakan Kemenag Batanghari, Al Jufri dalam sambutannya pada acara pengukuhan Forum Komunikasi Penyuluh Agama Islam Kabupaten Batanghari masa khidmat 2021-2024 pada Selasa (17/5/2022) kemarin.
Al Jufri mengatakan, bahwa tugas forum komunikasi penyuluh agama islam ini yaitu membantu penyuluh agama islam fungsional untuk program pemberantasan buta aksara al-quran.
Kemenag Batanghari terus melakukan pembinaan-pembinaan kepada para anggota PAI tersebut dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan yang menjadi bekal tambahan dalam memberikan penyuluhan.
Sementara itu Bupati Batanjghari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, SE sangat mengapresiasi atas terbentuk dan dikukuhkannya FK-PAI ini, sehingga diharapkan forum komunikasi ini dapat menjadi wadah sekaligus sarana bagi penyuluh PAI Non PNS untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya dan memberikan kontribusi yang lebih baik, dalam rangka memberikan pembinaan mengenai ajaran islam kepada masyarakat batanghari sehingga dapat berprilaku yang islami dengan akhlak yang baik.
“Dengan adanya pengukuhan ini, diharapkan para pengurus dapat meningkatkan budaya baca tulis Al-Qur’an, kebijakan ini dilakukan dengan merekrut guru ngaji disekolah-sekolah dasar sebagai tambahan dalam rangka pengentasan buta aksara Al-Qur’an, bahkan hal ini juga harus dilakukan terhadap masyarakat yang telah berusia lanjut agar mengenal kembali agama islam,” katanya.
Ditekankan Fadhil, bahwa pengurus juga harus dapat mengoptimalisasi peran dan fungsi ulama dalam masyarakat, optimalisasi pemberdayaan pondok pesantren dan lembaga keagamaan, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana ibadah, pembangunan pusat dakwah islam atau islamic center, penyediaan bea siswa untuk Hafiz/Hafizoh, Mufasir/Mufasiroh dan Qori/Qori’ah.
“Fk-PAI ini juga harus dapat memfasilitasi pemecahan masalah pembangunan melalui Jum’at berkah, dan meningkatkan komunikasi antar umat beragama,” jelasnya.
Selanjutnya strategi dan arah kebijakan diatas dibreakdown menjadi program-program dan kegiatan-kegiatan nyata pada OPD-OPD. Selain itu, pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari melalui Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) Kabupaten Batanghari agar dapat benar-benar memberikan dampak kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian, Bupati Fadhil berharap agar semua unsur masyarakat Kabupaten Batanghari agar bersama-sama saling bersinergi melaksanakan dan mengawal program-program yang akan dilaksanakan sehingga Batanghari Tangguh dapat benar-benar terwujud.
